Founded in 2012, Hawaiian Products is a heritage-driven beauty brand rooted in a real family history with the Hawaiian Islands. Our story begins long before the company itself — with the generations who came before us.

This photograph captures a moment from that history. Taken in 1968, it shows my grandfather and my father, alongside my two aunts — a family shaped by experiences that tied us to Hawaiʻi long before Hawaiian Products existed.

During World War II, our great-grandfather served in the U.S. Navy at Pearl Harbor. On the morning of the attack, our grandfather — then only eleven years old — watched the planes fly overhead. From that moment on, Hawaiʻi became woven into the fabric of our family’s life.

Years later, that connection continued when our parents chose Oʻahu for their honeymoon, carrying forward a relationship with the islands that has never faded.

That lineage is the foundation of Hawaiian Products — not a marketing angle, but a personal truth.

Over decades of visiting the islands, we developed a deep appreciation for Hawai'i’s rare botanicals, grown in nutrient-rich volcanic soil and a climate unlike any other on earth. These ingredients are not simply beautiful; they are exceptionally potent, culturally significant, and deeply tied to the spirit of the land. Our formulations honor that tradition.
